What we do
We offer various 4x4 driver training courses - from basic vehicle familiarisation to high-speed dynamic handling - as well as assisting and offering advice when it comes to buying those all-important 4x4 accessories. Then, once your vehicle is kitted out the way you like it, come and put it all to the test by joining us one of our local or cross-border adventure trips. These range from 2 to 10 days, and include camping and glamping.

Who is East Rand 4x4 Training & Tours?
Tony Yeo is East Rand 4x4 Training and Tours
Tony's career in the motor industry spans more than 35 years. He has overcome many challenges on his journey, but he soldiers on, all the while sharing his extensive knowledge through his training and tours.
Motoring has always been in his blood, from his school days with his 'petrol-head' mates, to an apprenticeship, to selling trucks at Mercedes, to technical training and regional service manager at Land Rover, to developing and running a Land Rover Experience in South Africa, to today - with some off-road racing and motorcycling (on and off-road) thrown in for good measure.
His experience has not been limited only to the confines of our borders. He has been involved in off-road across Africa (including a trip to Ngorogoro Crater), England, America and Malaysia.
A change of pace saw him installing granite in numerous kitchens, bathrooms and businesses in Port Elizabeth, before returning to Gauteng and joining Toyota East Rand where he provided after-sales service for their 4x4 clients.

It is an absolute delight to travel with Tony whose vast knowledge of fauna and flora is quite impressive. If you experience any issues during the trip, Tony comes to your aid and personally makes sure your trip runs smoothly.

The training I got from Tony was amazing and helped me understand my Hilux and what it can do. This led to a great adventure weekend, which really pushed me and my Hilux to the limits. Had it not been for the support from Tony and his Hilux, well, we might still have been there. Tony is a great technical asset and is always there to help and support. His knowledge of the Hilux is above standard.
